HEAD COACH BETSY PACHER
Head Coach Betsy Pacher joined the Blue Crabs in 2023. She has been in and around pools her entire life as a competitive swimmer, instructor, coach, and parent. She believes that summer teams provide a fun, team-focused introduction to the sport of swimming, and encourages swimmers of all skill levels to join. On a summer team, the more experienced swimmers will help mentor intermediate swimmers and those just getting started. There is a role for everyone!

Jojo Navarro
"Hello my name is Jojo Navarro. I attend Broadneck High and swim the Naval Academy Aquatic Club. This is my second year coaching at Chase creek and I love it. I am passionate about the sport of swimming and believe everyone should learn how to swim and I love racing."
Harper Williams
"Hi! My name is Harper Williams, and I have been on the Chase Creek swim team since I was 4! I have also swam for NAAC since I was 5. I am an upcoming Junior at Archbishop Spalding and have been a varsity swimmer for two years. I am super excited to coach this summer and cheer on the blue crabs!"
Rhett Walker
Hi, my name is Rhett Walker and I am a junior at Severn School. I have been swimming for the Naval Academy Aquatic Club for five years but this will be my first year on Chase Creek. I am super excited to be a part of the team! I look forward to being on deck this summer, coaching and spreading my love for swimming and competition.
Rory Varn
Hi, my name is Rory Varn. My favorite stroke is breaststroke and I love medley relays! I have been apart of Chase Creek for about 5 years, and have been swimming since I was 4. I am an upcoming sophomore at Indian Creek School and a part of their (developing) varsity swim team. I was previously a part of Navy’s swim club, before switching full time to Navy water polo. Although I am not a year round swimmer anymore, I look forward to swim every summer! I am so excited to be a part of the coaching staff this year, and look forward to meeting you all.
